Schine Walk is 6 cm high, which means that the length of the crutch or cane needs to be adjusted to the correct length after installation.

What distinguishes Schine Walk from a regular crutch tip?

Schine Walk's patented cushioning is made from a flexible material with high friction. Each step contributes to a soft, adaptable landing, and its unique shape allows for a larger contact area at various angles.

Is Schine Walk CE-marked?

Yes, Schine Walk is CE marked, according to the MDR regulation 2017/745 within the EU.

How do I clean Schine Walk?

To clean Schine Walk, use water and dry it thoroughly before use. It is important to keep it clean to maintain its performance and longevity.

How do I mount Schine Walk on my crutches or canes?

Schine Walk can be easily mounted on crutches and canes with shafts that have a diameter of 17mm or 19.5mm. Watch our instruction video.

What user weight does Schine Walk support?

Schine Walk is designed to support a maximum weight of 140 kg and should be mounted on crutches that meet the same requirements.

What surfaces does Schine Walk work on?

The material in the lower part, the shock absorber, has high friction and is made from a softer plastic. This allows Schine Walk to grip well on most surfaces, but be cautious. The shock absorber also comes with studs for winter use, which enhances grip on snow and ice.

How often do I need to replace the shock absorber on Schine Walk?

The frequency of replacing the shock absorber on Schine Walk depends on how much it is used and how much it wears out. We recommend regularly checking the shock absorber and replacing it if it deteriorates or becomes worn. This is important to ensure optimal functionality and safety.

Are there different kinds of shock absorbers for Schine Walk?

Yes, For Schine Walk, there are two different types of shock absorbers — medium and firm. You can choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences for comfort and cushioning. For more details, see "What should I consider when choosing a shock absorber."

What should I consider when choosing medium or firm shock absorber?

Schine Walk Medium features a softer shock absorbtion, while Schine Walk Fast offers a firmer shock absorbtion. The medium shock absorber is suitable for those who do not put heavy load on the crutch while walking or who prefer a more compliant cushioning, such as for balance support. The firm shock absorber is ideal for those who apply greater force, such as when relying heavily on one leg or during vigorous walking or exercise. If you're unsure which one to choose, you can purchase our combo package, which includes both a medium and a firm shock absorber.

Is Schine Pill Popper CE Marked?

No, the Schine Pill Popper is not classified as a medical device and may not be CE marked.

Why does the Schine Pill Popper have the transparent removable tube?

-The transparent tube ensures that the tablet ends up directly in the intended place, for example in one of the Schine Pill Box’s compartments.
- For easy, hygienic handling where you do not have to touch the tablet.

My hands are weak, can I use Schine Pill Popper?

The Schine Pill Popper is approved by the Swedish Rheumatism Association as an easy-to-use product. In an independent test, three people with different types of functional impairments in their hands tested the product and were all able use it. The ergonomic design requires minimal force to pop out the tablets.

Can you clean the Schine Pill Popper?

The Schine Pill Popper is dishwasher safe (84°C) and also tolerates alcohol-based cleaning.

Does the size of the tablet matter?

The red swivel plate allow you to adjust the opening to the size of the tablet. For extra-large tablets, remove the transparent tube.

Can the Schine Pill Popper pop out tablets from all blister packs?

The Schine Pill Popper can handle about 80% of the blister packs on the market.

Can you adjust the number of compartments?

No, the box has 8 compartments that can be used as needed. For example, for one week's dosage with an extra tray or to bring over a weekend to cover the weekend's need for medicine.

The roller shutter on the days Monday and Sunday sometimes stick.

This is probably due to the plastic pocket with the prescription card being bent. Contact Schine Innovation and we will send a new plastic pocket with a new design.

Is there a prescription card for the box?

On the underside of the box the patient card is easily accessible in a plastic pocket.

Is Schine Pill Box CE marked?

Yes, it is classified as a medical device, class 1.

How do I clean Schine Pill Box L?

The Schine Pill Box L can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. Open the box using the two snaps on the long side and remove the inner box. Then put both parts in the top rack of the dishwasher. NOTE: remove the plastic pocket.

How do I easily empty Schine Pill Box L?

You can open the whole box using the two snaps on the long side. Remove the inner box and empty it of the remaining tablets.
